Duncan is a proud third generation Hawkes Bay local. After finishing his degree he spent 18 years as a Detective in the NZ Police, specialising in drug investigation and as a Clandestine Laboratory specialist.

After identifying a gap in the local market for a dedicated rental management business Duncan met with Milton Weir of Propertyscouts Dunedin. He was immediately impressed by the systems and measures Milton had developed to ensure that his investors were receiving a top quality service. Duncan now offers those same standards in Hawkes Bay.

Duncan is extremely proud of his heritage, when he is not in the stands of McLean park cheering on the Magpies you will find him playing the bagpipes with the Hawkes Bay Caledonian Pipe Band.

Toni Hewett is a seasoned Property Investor and Property Manager. Toni has self managed her own portfolio of rental properties for a large number of years and is also an avid member of the Property Investors Federation. She has a wealth of knowledge in relation to Property Management and is looking to complete her level 4 Property Management qualification. She has been a key member of Propertyscouts Hawkes Bay since 2018.

Jill joined the Propertyscouts Hawkes Bay team in 2021 after returning from Christchurch to be closer to her family and grand daughter. Jill being a wealth of Property Management experience having been a Property Manager for over 17 years. She is currently Level 4 trained and is a real asset to the team.
When she is not working you will find Jill at the gym, in the garden or out and about experiencing all that Hawkes Bay has to offer.

Karina has 12 years extensive experience in the property management industry. She is a Hawkes Bay local and started out in the industry here in Hawkes Bay before spending time in Australia in the property management industry.

Upon her return to NZ she has spent 5 years working in Property Management and then a year for the IRD before returning to Property Management with Propertyscouts in 2019.

She is a wealth of knowledge and experience and is a great asset to the team!

Mel has a strong background in Property Management and property investment. Mel has been both a landlord and a professional property manager locally and thrives on all things ‘property’.

Mel and her fiancé have experience with buy and holds, property ‘flips’ and also extending yield through the addition of minor dwellings.

Mel is a great communicator and her attention to detail is second to none.

Stacey is a Hawkes Bay local who grew up in Napier and brings over 20 years of sales, customer service, and management experience. Stacey’s career spans more than 15 years as a Brand Ambassador alongside roles in Property Management, Valuation, and Sales in Hawkes Bay demonstrating a passion for all things property!

After completing a Bachelor of Business (Property Valuation and Management) through Massey University, Stacey spent two years as a Property Valuer followed by two years as a Property Manager

Stacey’s diligent, composed, and personable nature makes her an ideal fit for the industry, and she thrives in an environment where she can contribute to a company dedicated to fostering enduring clients relationships and assisting them to meet their goals. Stacey is excited to contribute to the team at Propertyscouts and support their ongoing success.

In her spare time, she is passionate about fitness, the outdoors, and embracing all that Hawkes Bay has to offer. She enjoys travelling, tramping, and spending time with friends and family.

Julie is a very experience property developer having completed a large number of new builds and major renovations between Hawke's Bay and Auckland. She is a landlord herself, having been so for a number of years.

Julie has a strong appreciation of all that is required of a successful Property Manager.

Julie also brings a wealth of knowledge to the table having previously worked in the banking and insurance realms. When not working, Julie enjoys gardening, biking the HB trails and spending time with her adult children.

With a background in real estate in South Africa and 15 years property management experience in New Zealand, Lindie prides herself on offering a professional service to both landlords and tenants alike.

Lindie is passionate about property management and enjoys the variety and challenges presented within this role and understanding the importance of being well organised, attention to detail and clear communication is essential.

Lindie is also a mom of two little ones, 10year old son and 6year old daughter. Lindie enjoys outdoor activities in her spare time.
