From 2009 to 2018, Dave was a leading Mad Butcher store owner and operator, serving over 3,500 customers each week. During his time in the business, he became known as an industry innovator and a respected business owner throughout the Wellington community. Alongside his retail success, Dave spent several years as a licensed real estate salesperson for one of Wellington’s top-performing brands, further deepening his knowledge of the local property market.
In addition to his impressive professional background, Dave is also deeply connected to the local community. As an avid golfer and the Convenor for First Kicks Football at Western Suburbs Football Club, Dave was awarded “Convenor of the Year” in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024 along with the prestigious “Capital Football Volunteer of the Year” in 2022.

As a soon-to-be qualified residential property manager and an accredited member of the Residential Property Managers Association of New Zealand, Dave continually invests time, money, and effort into staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and legislative changes.
